90 min - $90

120 min - $120

Lomi Lomi, which means "rub" or "massage" in Hawaiian, is a traditional Hawaiian massage technique used to bring about physical as well as mental relaxation. According to the Huma philosophy of Hawaii, the mind and the body are invariably interlinked and mutually interdependent. Good health depends on having both aspects in an harmonious balance.

The Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage seeks to rid the body of physical and mental stresses, and free up the energy flow. This is done with a combination of prayers, breathing techniques and intuitive massage strokes. There are no definitive Lomi Lomi massage techniques. They are determined on a case basis, depending upon the massage therapist and the client requirements.

Recommended for: Everyone seeking a relaxing yet therapeutic massage.

The body is approached through a holistic view, both physically and psychologically. The Somassage® is client-centered, and the body is more sacred than the recipe. The client is taught to utilize movement to aid their body in continuing the wellness process. Since Somassage® is not Structural Integration, the work is not permanent but must be repeated regularly like other massage techniques.

It allows release of tension, increased flexibility, promotes relaxed energy, and recognizes the body.
